TAD PGS, INC. is currently seeking an Assembler for one of our clients in Flora , MS .
This position is responsible for performing the various tasks associated with assembling, packaging, and kitting of products within production.
Duties and
Responsibilities:
Knowledge and ability to operate packaging equipment
Pulls material as needed for projects
Package products according to guidelines
Assists with other projects as required
Assists mouth call and warehouse department as needed
Other duties as required
Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent
1 - 2 years related experience.
Knowledge of the production process
Basic understanding of assembling products and packaging equipment
Good reading and comprehensive skills to read bill of materials and packaging guidelines, etc.
Basic interpersonal skills
Basic PC skills
Basic understanding of sound safety practices and good housekeeping requirements
Working Conditions:
Exposure to noise, dust, various hazardous materials of which some are flammable and climate changes
Physical Demands:
Standing, lifting, walking, kneeling, sitting, and bending for extended periods of time
Regularly will be required to lift up to 50 pounds
